Beacon 23 - Season 2, Episode 7 - Free

In the next to last episode of the season, loose ends are tied up as an invading military force enters the Beacon. The show has been controversial so far as word has it, it has been different from the novels. There has been no news yet of a renewal of the show for a third season.

The capture of Halan and Iris is resolved as they escape from their ropes and out of zero gravity, sneaking throughout the Beacon. All is forgiven as Iris shows she is not a vindictive person and helps the Sybarrans escape from the military invaders. Halan is rendered unconscious and placed in a simulation where he speaks with his father and is convinced to have a brain implant to distinguish real from non-real memories. He meets his father in real life and has the brain implant placed. In a twist, he meets with Aleph while still unconscious, presumably due to the new implant.
