Buffalo Steak House and Seafood in Key Largo

A small mom and pop Brazillian style steak house and seafood restaurant in Key Largo just off of Overseas highway (US1) that serves mostly grilled meats and some seafood.  This is a nice off the beaten path restaurant that started as a food truck. This is quite a gem without a web page or social media presence. They do have a listing on Yelp.

Interior

5 tables with 4 bar seats allows for roughly 20 people comfortably inside. While I was there only one other person came in and sat at the bar, ordering one of their sandwiches.

For a first time vistor, which I was, the mixed grill seems to be the best thing to order as you can specify how large of additional portions you'd like, by the pound. I got the smallest and was satisfied, but I easily see myself ordering more.

Mixed Grill 1 lb portion

I had the tostones as my side dish which was good but nothing compared to the meats from the mixed grill.

The meat sauces were a spicy sauce, a cilantro mayo sauce and a chimichurri sauce.

From left to right, chicken, sausage, tenderloin, flap meat picanha.

Menu

Conclusion

For tasty food and in a place not busy at all, it is well worth a visit.
