3 Body Problem-S1E6-The Stars Our Destination

The planet escalates into full panic mode as the San Ti announce their intentions and call humanity "bugs." Thomas Wade moves his team to Wychwood Manor in rural England so they can think in peace. They formulate a plan to launch a probe and shoot it towards the alien fleet to learn more about them as well as create a Space Fleet which would require a moon base to be built. "The Stars Our Destination" is the name of the probe program but likely will be expanded for more.

This is a bit of a slower episode as the characters have just suffered a lot of emotional trauma including learning about an alien threat to arrive in 400 years. This episode is spent processing emotions and what they will do in response to the news.

Jim Cheng is full on board to fight the San Ti by trying to design the probe and how it will reach 1% the speed of light so that they may intercept the fleet and learn more about them.

Admiral Raj Varma will lead the Space Fleet once it's built.

Auggie after a lot of soul searching and reconciling her extreme distress over helping to kill the members of the Judgment Day Ship, will help Jim Cheng by designing a Para Sail to help the probe accelerate through space.

Ye Wenjie remains a gray character as she makes a final statement or request to the San Ti. She may end up aiding humankind in the end and redeem herself.
