Beacon 23, Season 2 Episode 8 - Disintegration
The final episode of the season and perhaps the series! We get answers to lingering questions that have been ongoing for two seasons.
In this last episode, Halan continues in his pseudo world with Aleph as Harmony does what she can to rescue him. The Sybarra, left for dead with a dwindling supply of oxygen is rescued with heroic efforts by Iris. The anomaly makes another appearance and the mystery of what is , is reconciled as it reveals itself to be a lifeform.
The show has likely ended.
Analysis and commentary
The show has been somewhat controversial due to its many arcs and tangents throughout the series. The story telling has been somewhat disjointed but heavy on the sci-fi concepts and world building. The AI was a major part of the story and show, with an exploration on it as a life form in its own right with consciousness and evolution.
