I've been working in Homestead all week and to cap off the end of my Homestead visit (likely the first of many to come), I decided to try a restaurant known for its ambience as well as its good food. Encouraged to make a reservation when I called, White Lion Cafe definitely fits the bill of a good date place, neighborhood restaurant or classy hang ...
A quest to finding the best ribs in Miami is no easy task. Many have their favorite restaurants and especially locals prefer some of the historically honored traditional establishments such as Shiver's or Shorty's.
A good rib is one that is tender, not dry and above all else, tasty. And with these come subjective interpretations, which is delicious to one person may simply be atrocious to another. With this, I had to try Yardie Spice, a Haitian/Jamaican restaurant with top ratings for years on yelp. The outside is a very unassuming decor,...
Currently on my Mexican food kick as I try my second Mexican restaurant in Homestead, Casita Tejas on Krome Ave. This family run restaurant is well located across from the Seminole Theatre with a nice window view. It is heart warming to see a cottage industry of restaurants spring up in the past twenty years and I only anticipate the area to increa...
